In a previous post last week, we reviewed the latest permit data for new residential construction in Texas and discovered that there were 4,320 new residential construction permits with a total value of nearly $1.3 billion on record with HBW last month for the Lone Star State.
This week, we are taking a closer look at each of the major metro areas included in the report (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio) to identify leading contractors who carried the highest volume of new permitting activity within each area. Based on the latest construction data reports from HBW, the contractors with the greatest total amount of new residential construction permits on record for the month November 2023 are as follows:
Houston
Last month, there were approximately 235 contractors with new residential construction activity on record in the Houston area, and the following ranked as the top five for total new permits:

There were more than 250 home builders with new residential construction activity on record in the Dallas area last month, and the following ranked as the top five for total new permits for the one-month period:
