Today, we are looking specifically at the latest data on new swimming pool construction in the four major metro areas of Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio) during the month of August. Last month, there approximately 675 new swimming pool construction permits with a total value in excess of $42.6 million added to the HBW database for Texas. Out of the four regions reviewed, the highest concentration of pool starts could be found in Dallas (286 permits), while the highest average value of new swimming pool construction could be found in Houston (average value: $79,750).
