If you follow the HBW blog, then you are probably already aware of the latest construction permit data report for swimming pool construction in Texas. As published earlier this week, there were approximately 830 new swimming pool construction permits with a total value in excess of $52 million in Texas last month. Out of the four major Metro areas reviewed (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio), the greatest volume of new swimming pool construction could be found in the Dallas area (377 permits), while the highest average value of construction could be found in Houston (average value: $81,586).
While there wasn’t a specific pool contractor that dominated the market statewide, we identified the top contractors in each major metro area based on the total number of new permits on record for the one-month period. Here is a breakdown of the top pool builders in each of the four Metro areas of Texas during the month of October:
Dallas
Last month, there were 185 active builders in the Dallas area who contributed to a total of 377 new swimming pool construction permits. The leading contractors for new pool construction (based on total new permits) were as follows:
