Austin

While Austin has reflected a growth pattern in new pool construction from 2017 through 2019, so far this year things appear to leveling off.  From January through June 2020, the Austin area has exhibited a nominal 1 percent year-over-year decrease in pool starts, resulting in more than 535 new swimming pool construction permits on record for the six-month period.  Out of the four Austin-area counties reviewed, nearly all new pool construction took place in Travis County (377 permits) and Williamson County (136 permits).
