Texas Swimming Pool Construction Permits by Area – Dec. 2017
The year ended with a slower month for Texas swimming pool construction in December. Out of the hundreds of active pool builders throughout the Lone Star State, there were nearly 540 new pool construction permits with a total value of approximately $33M added to the HBW database. Out of the four major metro areas reviewed, Dallas ranked #1 for total pool starts with 289 permits and more than $18M in construction value on file, and Austin was on top for the highest average value of construction at $73,963.
