Last month, there were 720 new swimming pool permits with a total construction value of nearly $44 million added to the HBW database for Texas, reflecting a 6 percent month-over-month decrease in new pool construction. Out of the four major metro areas reviewed (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio), Dallas ranked #1 for new pool construction having 324 starts on record for the month and the highest average value of construction (average value: ~$70k).
