A review of the leading pool builders in Florida based on total new permits on record with HBW for the month of May 2020
As published on the HBW Blog last week in a post entitled “Florida Swimming Pool Construction Review – May 2020”, there were 1,690 new swimming pool permits with a total construction value of $81.2 million on record with HBW for the month of May 2020. New construction activity was widespread across the state, and out of the five major regions reviewed (Southwest, Southeast, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville), the southwestern region carried 33 percent of all new permitting activity.
When taking a closer look at the leading pool builders driving the new construction figures, most contractors had a local or regional focus, resulting in variations in the top five pool builders for each area. Here is a closer look at the leading pool contractors with the greatest volume of pool starts on record with HBW for each Florida region during the month of May 2020:
Southwest
Last month, there were nearly 125 active pool builders in Southwest Florida with new construction activity on record with HBW, and the following ranked as the top five for total new permits for the one-month period:
