So, what defines a “leading home builder”? The answer is simple – For our purposes, we pull the top five contractors with the greatest amount of new residential construction permits added to the HBW database for a given period; in this report, we are covering the home builders with the greatest amount of new permits on file for the month of October 2019 in the five Florida regions of Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Southwest and Southeast. Tampa
In Tampa, there were more than 205 active home builders with housing starts on file last month, and the following ranked as top five for total new residential construction permits:
