A review of new swimming pool construction permits added to the HBW database for Texas during the month of August 2020

Today, we are looking specifically at the latest data on new swimming pool construction in the four major metro areas of Texas (Dallas, Houston, Austin, San Antonio) during the month of August. Last month, there were more than 1,435 pool starts with a total construction value of approximately $70 million in the combined metropolitan areas of Texas. Out of the four regions reviewed, the highest concentration of pool starts could be found in Dallas (668 permits), while the highest average value of new swimming pool construction was in Houston (average value: $60,135).
